Greetings and welcome to Lincoln Charter School, where we educate the entire child and build good citizens for tomorrow. It is my educational philosophy that all children can, and will, learn when provided with the appropriate tools needed for success. I became an educator to positively affect the lives of our youth. For 13 years, I have worked in urban areas similar to the one where I was reared to ensure that all students receive a world class education.
After I graduated from Pennsylvania State University (main campus) with a degree in Communications, I returned to Philadelphia, and began working as a classroom teacher. That is when I recognized that traditional strategies and techniques are no longer effective in educating our students. I returned to school to enhance my skills as an educator, so that I could better serve my students, staff, and community. I attended Arcadia University, where I earned two advanced degrees, one in Educational Leadership and one in Secondary English Education. I am a certified principal and a certified classroom teacher in Pennsylvania.
It has been my privilege to work with a diverse population of students in grades K-12 in both public and charter schools. I have implemented many new and successful strategies and techniques in my work environment. I have had many exceptional experiences as an administrator and classroom teacher in Philadelphia. I am delighted to bring my talents and skills in the field of education to the York community. As principal of Lincoln Charter School, I will serve with integrity and compassion to enhance the instructional program, while honoring the mission and vision of our school.
